10° "Nosferatu"
Muito antes do horror se estabelecer como um gênero em Hollywood, vários países fizeram diferentes experimentos cinematográficos para retratar como o insólito, o grotesco e o medonho se manifestam. O expressionismo alemão, surgido na República de Weimar, nos ofereceu clássicos nesse sentido, e um dos filmes mais influentes de sua prolífica colaboração é "Nosferatu".10° "Nosferatu"

Long before horror became established as a genre in Hollywood, various countries experimented with cinema to portray the unusual, the grotesque and the terrifying. German Expressionism, which emerged during the Weimar Republic, gave us classics in this sense, and one of the most influential films from their prolific collaboration is "Nosferatu".

9° "Frankenstein"
A década de 30 foi muito importante para o desenvolvimento do horror nos Estados Unidos, em grande parte graças aos vários filmes de monstros feitos pela Universal Pictures, como Frankenstein, obra baseada no romance homônimo de Mary Shelley e dirigida por James Whale, que eternizou Boris Karloff no papel do monstro reanimado composto por cadáveres.

The 1930s were very important for the development of horror in the United States, largely thanks to the various monster films made by Universal Pictures, such as Frankenstein, a work based on the novel of the same name by Mary Shelley and directed by James Whale, which immortalized Boris Karloff in the role of the monster reanimated from corpses.

8° "Psicose"
Alfred Hitchcock não ficou conhecido como o Mestre do Suspense à toa. Ao longo de sua prolífica carreira, com mais de cinquenta longas-metragens, o cineasta trouxe contribuições inestimáveis para a linguagem e a técnica do cinema. Um dos filmes mais reconhecidos de sua carreira é Psicose, de 1960, baseado no livro homônimo de Robert Bloch.

 chocante e provocativa para o cinema Hollywoodiano.
